What does "transformative socioculture" mean?

Transformative socioculture refers to a form of cultural work that aims to bring about social change and bring about positive change in various areas. It goes beyond purely artistic and cultural activities and actively addresses social, ecological and political issues. Transformative socioculture empowers people to act effectively and contribute to a just and sustainable society. It promotes participatory processes, dialog and collaboration to create and strengthen an inclusive and vibrant community.

This working group

The "Future of Socioculture" working group participated in the "Future of Socioculture" workshop process for B-Side Kultur e.V. with the WERK°STADT Witten in the "Profil: Soziokultur - Sonderprogramm NEUSTART Kultur" funding program.

Together, seven theses for a transformative socioculture were developed. The publication will follow here in the coming weeks.
